Your new White Rodgers Digital Thermostat uses the technology of a solid-state microcomputer to provide precise time/temperature control. Battery powered with 3 AA batteries, same program for all days, 4 periods. Compatible with single/dual transformer, heat pump, millivolt. Preparations

This thermostat is intended for use with a low voltage system; do not use with line voltage. CAUTION! Disconnect power at fuse box until complete. Do not exceed ratings. WARNING! Conform to codes. Do not short terminals. Handle carefully.

Thermostat Details

The thermostat consists of cover and base. Buttons behind door: up/down arrows, SET TIME, VIEW PRGM, RUN PRGM, HOLD TEMP, FAN, SYSTEM.

The Display: Time/temp alternate, set temp, HEAT/COOL, HOLD, BATTERY low indicator.

Removing Old Thermostat

Disconnect power. Remove cover/base. Label/disconnect wires.

  2. Mount base.
  3. Secure cover.

Check Operation

Contact service if not operating properly.

Fan Operation

  1. FAN ON, blower on.
  2. FAN AUTO, off.

Heating System

  1. SYSTEM HEAT, light pilot.
  2. Adjust above, operates.
  3. Adjust below, stops.

Cooling System

CAUTION: Below 50°F, DO NOT operate. Built-in 5-min delay.

  1. SYSTEM COOL.
  2. Adjust below, blower then cool.
  3. Adjust above, stops.

Operating Features

Programming

4 periods all days. Guidelines: Cooler when vacant, 30 min lead time.

Factory: Heat 6AM 68F, 8AM 68F, 5PM 68F, 10PM 64F; Cool 6AM 78F, etc.

Set Time: SET TIME, adjust hour/min/AMPM.

Enter Program: VIEW PRGM for periods, adjust time/temp for heat/cool.

RUN PRGM to start.
