Preparations

For low voltage; inspect wiring if unsure.

Features: LCD set/time/temp, override, HOLD, temporary HOLD, °F/°C, 45-90°F, RC/RH/C/W/Y/G/O/B, B/O for heat pump/damper, program storage, 24V powered, 5/1/1 day with 4 periods, simultaneous heat/cool, preprogrammed, backlit.

Buttons and Switches:

  1. Up arrow.
  2. Down arrow.
  3. TIME.
  4. PRGM.
  5. RUN.
  6. HOLD.
  7. FAN (ON/AUTO).
  8. SYSTEM (COOL/OFF/HEAT).

Display:

Removing Old Thermostat

Disconnect power. Remove cover/base. Label/disconnect wires. DO NOT LET WIRES FALL BACK INTO WALL.

Mounting and Wiring

Pull cover off. Connect wires. Requires common connection.

  1. Mark/drill mounts.
  2. Fasten base level.
  3. Push wires, plug hole.

Check Operation

Static discharge: touch side. Service if issues.

Fan Operation

  1. FAN ON, blower on.
  2. FAN AUTO, off.

Heating System

  1. SYSTEM HEAT, light pilot.
  2. Up above room, operates.
  3. Down below, stops.

Cooling System

CAUTION: Below 50°F, no cool. 5-min delay.

  1. SYSTEM COOL.
  2. Down below room, blower then cool.
  3. Up above, stops. Snowflake flashes lockout.

Programming

Plan 4 periods. Factory weekday heat 6AM 70F etc.

Set Time/Day: TIME adjust.

Enter Programs: SYSTEM HEAT/COOL, PRGM adjust periods.

Check: PRGM view, RUN start.
