The White Rodgers 1F80-241 is a 5-Day/1-Day/1-Day programmable digital thermostat for heat/cool systems. It features simultaneous heat/cool programming, backlit display, and compressor lockout. 24V powered with C-wire. Preparations

• CAUTION: Disconnect power until complete.
• WARNING: Do not exceed voltage. No shorting. Conform to codes. Class II per NEC.

For low voltage; inspect wiring if unsure.

Features: LCD set/time/temp, override, HOLD, temporary HOLD, °F/°C, 45-90°F, RC/RH/C/W/Y/G/O/B, B/O for heat pump/damper, program storage, 24V powered, 5/1/1 day with 4 periods, simultaneous heat/cool, preprogrammed, backlit.

Buttons and Switches:

1. Up arrow.
2. Down arrow.
3. TIME.
4. PRGM.
5. RUN.
6. HOLD.
7. FAN (ON/AUTO).
8. SYSTEM (COOL/OFF/HEAT).

Display:

• Day.
• Flame/ Snowflake icons.
• Time/temp alternate.
• HOLD flashing temporary.
• Set temp.

Removing Old Thermostat

Disconnect power. Remove cover/base. Label/disconnect wires. DO NOT LET WIRES FALL BACK INTO WALL.

Mounting and Wiring

Pull cover off. Connect wires. Requires common connection.

1. Mark/drill mounts.

Static discharge: touch side. Service if issues.

Fan Operation

1. FAN ON, blower on.
2. FAN AUTO, off.

Heating System

1. SYSTEM HEAT, light pilot.
2. Up above room, operates.
3. Down below, stops.

Cooling System

CAUTION: Below 50°F, no cool. 5-min delay.

1. SYSTEM COOL.
2. Down below room, blower then cool.
3. Up above, stops. Snowflake flashes lockout.

Operating Features

• Simultaneous Storage: Heat/cool together.
• Override: Until next period.
• HOLD: Indefinite, until RUN.

Configuration Menu

RUN, then PRGM+RUN enter. HOLD next, TIME prev, RUN exit.

• 1) Temp Hold: Duration.
• 2) Rate: FA/SL.
• 3) Backlight: ON continuous/short.
• 4) EMR: Early start.
• 5) Lockout: 5 min delay.
• 6) Adjust: ±4°.
• 7) F/C.

Programming

Plan 4 periods. Factory weekday heat 6AM 70F etc.

Set Time/Day: TIME adjust.

Enter Programs: SYSTEM HEAT/COOL, PRGM adjust periods.

Check: PRGM view, RUN start.
